His winning hand: three sixes, an ace and a four.

Owen said he entered the competition because he was familiar with the course.

”I ride this track every time we come to AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days,” he said. “Then I saw this event advertised and wanted to do it.”

Owen’s father, Tom, said the whole family belongs to the American Motorcyclist Association.

”We come to this event every year,” he said. “I collect Triumphs. Owen is a Honda guy. And he’s beginning to win me over.”

The Biltwell Off-road Poker Run is just one of the fun events available to those attending AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Royal Enfield. The event continues through Sunday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Complex.

Tickets are available at the gate. Kids under 12 get in free with a paying adult.

AMA Vintage Motorcycles Days is the largest fundraiser for the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio.
