PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The American Motorcyclist Association wishes fathers across the nation a safe and happy Father's Day, and encourages sons and daughters to give their dad the gift of an AMA membership this year.
Father's Day is Sunday, June 16.
Countless fathers have passed along their passion for motorcycling to their children.
"To the millions of fathers in the United States who ride motorcycles, the AMA wishes you a safe and enjoyable day on the road, on the trail or with family," AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman said. "Countless fathers have passed along the passion for the motorcycling lifestyle to their children. The AMA is fighting to protect the future of motorcycling, and we encourage family members to purchase an AMA membership for their dad this Father's Day to help ensure the motorcycling lifestyle will continue for generations to come."
To purchase a gift membership, call (800) 262-5646. A full membership is $49 a year.
For dads who are AMA Life Members or AMA Charter Life Members, AMA Life Member Plus is $29 a year and includes physical delivery of American Motorcyclist magazine and AMA Roadside Assistance.
An AMA membership helps protect the freedom to ride by supporting the AMA's government affairs activities. It also includes access to a variety of benefits and discounts, allows members to participate in AMA-sanctioned competition and recreational events, provides free roadside assistance to members who sign up with auto-renew and includes a subscription to the AMA's monthly magazine American Motorcyclist.
