LEXINGTON, Ohio — Dozens of spectators gathered in the upper paddock at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and many more lined the paddock fences to watch the Xtreme Trials riders perform Saturday at 2019 Honda AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days presented by Avon Tyres.
Among those checking out the exhibition were Kevin, Angela and Owen Fields of Shelbyville, Ky., and Trey Troyer and Tyler Mast from Amish Country, Ohio.
Kevin Fields said the family knows the performers in the Xtreme Trials Riders troupe well, and young Owen Fields was out riding his bicycle with the with a couple of the Xtreme riders after the event ended.

Angela Fields said Owen Fields competes in observed trials and that he will take part in the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days vintage trials competition Sunday morning.
Kevin Fields said the family has been coming to AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days for four years and also enjoys checking out other parts of the event experience, including the swap meet and road racing.
Friends Troyer and Mast were attending their first AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days event, and both were impressed with the trials riding exhibition.

“The balance they have is amazing,” Mast said.
Troyer said he may want to give trials riding a go after watching the exhibition. He also said he really liked the people and atmosphere of AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.
Mast said the variety of motorcycles at the event really impressed him, and he hopes to be back at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days next year.
The Xtreme Trials Riders performed a variety of stunts, including jumping over people lying on the ground.
The exhibition featured performers riding trials motorcycles over obstacles and up the side of a small trailer. Performers also jumped over as many as five people laying on the ground.
