LEXINGTON, Ohio — The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame tent at 2019 Honda AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days presented by Avon Tyres was packed Saturday afternoon with fans of event Co-Grand Marshals Bubba Shobert and Scott Summers.
The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famers and Honda legends autographed posters, shirts, hats and a wide range of other memorabilia for attendees.

Among those who waited in line to get autographs were Britt Lambert and Allen Brotz.
Lambert, of Springtown, Texas, said he has served as an AMA field representative and an AMA ambassador, and brought an AMA banner he had been given for his volunteer service to get signed. The banner contained many additional signatures, and Lambert said he’s trying to get it signed by as many of the former pro motorcycle racers as he can.

He also had several posters and a t-shirt signed by Shobert and Summers.
A long-time AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days attendee, Lambert first attended the event in 1996. He said he was impressed with the Saturday’s turnout and was off to catch some of the road racing and motorcross racing for the rest of the afternoon.
Allen Brotz said he's had the grand marshal at every AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days he's attended sign his banner.
Bortz, a Sheboygan, Wis., resident had a banner of his own for the co-grand marshals to sign. He’s been to 23 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days events, and has had the grand marshals at the previous events sign his banner.
Signatures from AMA Hall of Famers Mert Lawwill, Malcolm Stewart, David Aldana and many more were visible on the banner.
In addition to getting his banner signed, it’s his love of vintage motorcycles that keeps him coming back to AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.
“I just love old bikes and the people here,” Bortz said. “I have a collection of 11 vintage motorcycles.”
