Bike Nights are a staple in the motorcycling community. The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame traditionally welcomes motorcyclists and fans of motorcycling to AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Night in the spring and the fall. The events, fundraisers for the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, feature music, food vendors, free entry to the museum and more.
For 2018, the spring event will be held April 28 from 5-8 p.m. at the AMA campus: 13515 Yarmouth Drive, Pickerington, Ohio.
Employees of Motohio European Motorbikes, a local motorcycle dealership, will lead a 60- to 90-minute fun run from their site to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Spring Bike Night. The ride stages at 3:30 p.m., April 28 at Motohio, 5936 Scarborough Blvd., Columbus, Ohio.
Registration before April 18 is $10. Onsite registration is $15. All ride proceeds benefit the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises money for the Hall of Fame. A law enforcement motorcycle display will feature bikes from the Hilliard Police Department, the Reynoldsburg Police Department, the Obetz Police Department, the Ohio Highway Patrol and a Harley-Davidson police fleet bike.
Food vendors include the Schmidt's Sausage Truck and Tortilla, featuring Mexican cuisine. A selection of beer from North High Brewing will be available for purchase.
