AMA Flash Tours Challenge #3 – May is Motorcycle Awareness Month, so our challenge all month long is for our intrepid Flash Tourers to submit two (2) photographs. Photo one will be of you, in whatever gear you wear, on your bike. Let us know your strategies for being seen in traffic. Photo two will be of your motorcycle at a movie-, television- or theater-themed location – let us know why you chose that particular spot when you send in your picture. Some examples would be “Smallville Lane in Granite Falls, N.C.," or "Mannix Drive in Los Angeles." You could choose to take a picture of your bike at the Arizona border sign (“Raising Arizona”) or on Route 66. Be creative! The best picture will be featured on the Flash Tours web page and may even be in an upcoming issue of American Motorcyclist. Plus, you will win some cool gear from the AMA. Make sure you set your camera for high resolution and take your time to compose the best shot you can. Full rules and submission information are on this page.

Smaller and often more rewarding than some larger gatherings,
district rallies and tours are great places to meet other riders from
your area. Find these by searching our online database of rides and rallies. And during the colder months, the AMA encourages its members to visit the International Motorcycle Show in their area.
Those who like a little more dirt with their pavement can check out events in the AMA's dual-sport and adventure ride series.
