Archive Webcast: Senate Committee Set to Vote on Motorcyclist Safety Grants and Helmet Mandates

On Wednesday, December 14, 2011, the Senate Commerce, Science, & Transportation Committee voted on  S. 1449, the “Motor Vehicle and Highway Safety Improvement Act of 2011,” along with related amendments. The bill governs the activities of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) within the larger national transportation program.
