    As part of its continued alliance with the Japan National Cross Country (JNCC) Series, Japan's all-motorcycle cross-country championship, the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, is proud to announce that GNCC XC1 Pro rider Jordan Ashburn will compete in Japan's AAGP finale this Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Jigatake Ski Resort in Omachi City, Nagano.

    It was another historic weekend in Crawfordsville, Ind. as the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, celebrated 20 years of the legendary AMSOIL Ironman GNCC. Nearly perfect weather conditions surrounded the newly renovated Ironman Raceway motocross facility where almost 2,300 riders showed up to compete in America's premier off-road racing series over the course of two days. Tallying approximately 200 more riders than the record-breaking Unadilla GNCC saw earlier this year, the 2014 AMSOIL Ironman GNCC posted the highest rider count that GNCC has ever seen in its 40-year lifespan.

  • American Motorcyclist Association corrects recent public statements about FIM North America and Supermoto competition

    The American Motorcyclist Association is correcting erroneous statements made about Supermoto competition in a press release issued Oct. 22, 2014, by the Mike Kidd Sports Agency. The erroneous statements were made in a press release titled "FIM North American (sic) Supermoto Championship Appoints Mike Kidd as Vice President, General Manager." The Mike Kidd Sports Agency distributed the press release without consultation with representatives of the AMA or FIM North America.
