    The 2014 Aires AMA NATC MotoTrials US National Championship Series resumes this coming weekend with rounds five and six of the series in Valley View, Pennsylvania, on June 21st and 22nd, where Pat Smage will attempt to remain undefeated after winning all four rounds held so far.

Texter comes into this year’s event with the confidence of having won the Grand National support class (Pro Singles) the last two years and she’s hoping her success at Cal Expo carries over now that she’s made the step up to the premier Grand National Championship.

    Round two of the AMA Pro Hillclimb Series looked as if the winners would be a repeat of round one until Jay Sallstrom unleashed a perfect ride in the second half to take the Unlimited Class win by nearly a half-second. John Koester and Nick Drummer each chalked up repeat wins in Xtreme Class and Pro Sport Class, respectively.

Like a giant slayer, Venegas pledged last week to beat the unbeaten Janniro and in the fifth week of speedway action at the Gold Country Fairgrounds Venegas did just that in the night’s finale.

    Through the first seven rounds of the 2014 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, it’s been a head-to-head battle for the XC1 National Championship between Factory FMF/KTM teammates Kailub Russell and Charlie Mullins. However, with Mullins removed from championship chase due to a recent injury, the reigning champ Russell was poised to take over the points lead on Sunday and he did so in a dominant fashion at the 25th running of the Wiseco John Penton GNCC.

    The 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, hosted its third round of the season on Saturday with the 10th Annual Toyota Thunder Valley National from Thunder Valley MX Park in Lakewood, Colorado. For the second straight week, Red Bull KTM's Ken Roczen claimed the overall victory in the 450 Class thanks to a victory in the final moto of the afternoon.
