New Hampshire now has 1,000 miles of connected ATV trails
July 02, 2013
Some 1,000 miles of New Hampshire ATV trails are now linked together following a June opening ceremony conducted by Gov. Maggie Hassan and other state officials at Coleman State Park in Stewartstown.
The trails, in Coos County, are called “Ride the Wilds.” The North Country OHRV (Off-Highway Recreational Vehicle) Coalition worked for two years with volunteers and state agencies to create the interconnecting ATV trail system. The hope is to attract more riders to the area in northern New Hampshire and boost the local economies.
