The following is an industry press release...
Ride for Kids Star Jessica (right) hops on a motorcycle and prepares to ride in the Middle Tennessee event.
Ride for Kids traveled south on May 19, with events in Alexandria, La., and Franklin, Tenn. At press time, riders had raised more than $149,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

A total of seven young brain tumor survivors, along with their families, were on hand for the two events.
Making life better for these Ride for Kids Stars is the reason motorcyclists across the country ride for the PBTF, which funds medical research and family support programs to help eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors.
“We have to find out what is driving the tumor; find a medicine that will inhibit that specific tumor. When we can do that, we can stop the growth,” said Dr. Adam Esbenshade, pediatric hematology/oncology specialist, who attended the Middle Tennessee ride. “You are funding real people, making real progress.”
The Louisiana and Middle Tennessee events are still collecting donations online at www.rideforkids.org. Fundraisers will receive incentive credit through June 19.
