On Feb. 15, the House Committee on Natural Resources, chaired by Rep. Doc Hastings (R-Wash.), held an oversight hearing entitled "Department of the Interior Spending and the President's Fiscal Year 2013 Budget Proposal."

Even though the oversight hearing's topic is the Interior budget, many questions were about access to our public lands. Specifically, Rep. Rob Bishop (R-Utah) asked questions about the Wild Lands policy.
