New magazine from Buzz Walneck features old road tests, bike classifieds
May 01, 2013
AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Buzz Walneck is coming out with a new magazine, "The Buzzzzz Rag." Here's the announcement...
“Starting in June, we will bring out ”The Buzzzz Rag” motorcycle magazine.
It will be an “old-school“ style magazine with lots of old road tests reprinted. We will even ask readers to mail or call in requests for specific makes or model road tests. I have accumulated a lot of cycle magazines over the last 60-years.
I’ve been itching for while and with the blessing of Pixie and our son Ed, we will be making this new venture a fun and easy read. Besides old road tests, we will ask readers to send in their stories, and have lots of ads for bikes and parts for sale.
Our first issue will be 36-pages of old road tests, stories, dealer display ads, and your personal bikes and parts for sale or Wanted! We expect it to grow quickly through national circulation at motorcycle swap meets, motorcycle museums and through subscriptions! It will immediately have a 5,000+ print run and will be at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days this July 19-21.
E-mail ads are welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have no computer, we will gladly take your ad written on a piece of paper and your photograph sent with it. You can send a color photograph, and we can make it into a black and white. Put it in an envelope and send it by Postal Mail.
A $25 annual subscription gets you 12 monthly issues, E-book access and one free black and white photo ad with up to 20 words. Call for yours now at (630) 985-2097, and Pixie or I will answer your call. Help us get the ball rolling and subscribe now. You also can send a check to: Buzz Walneck, 7923 Janes Ave., Woodridge, IL 60517.
Buzz, Pixie, Ed and our great friends,
