Sam Steckly: 2012 ATV Nationals 90 Mod Junior champion

Sam Steckly, 12, of Oxford, Iowa, is the 2012 90 Mod Junior champion in the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series.

Steckly has been racing for about seven years and feels that everyone who shows up to a race is his biggest competition. 

When asked why he likes racing in this series,he answered: "It's fun and I make new friends."

Steckly's plans for the 2013 racing season are to "win the 90 Mod Senior and Supermini classes." He also plans to continue racing until he turns pro.

When Steckly isn't racing, he enjoys placing football and wrestling.
