Codee Ryan Samples: 2012 Amateur MX National 51cc (4-6) Stock Limited class champion

March 20, 2013

Codee Ryan Samples of Midlethian, Texas, earned the national No. 1 plate in the 51cc (4-6) Stock Limited class in the 2012 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships, presented by Amsoil. He also finished second in the AMA Freestone Spring Championship 50cc Stock (4-8) class and fourth in the 51cc Stock (4-6) class.

Ryder Difrancesco and Broc Walker were two of Samples' toughest competition.

"Ryder is the two-time AMA Loretta's champion along with several other championships that he has won. And we race Broc on a weekly basis and he and his family are a dedicated motofamily! Broc has several championships on his resume...," said Samples.

Samples has been racing for four years and loves this series because "it's moto and moto is our lifestyle!"

He hopes to continue racing for as long as he possibly can and plans to finish top three in the major national series.

When he is not racing, Samples enjoys playing Xbox, riding bicycles, jumping around on his pogo stick, and playing with friends.

Samples would like to thank Jesus Christ, Cobra, Thor, Smith Opties, Safety First, Bell Ray, Roost MX graphics, Pilot Travel Centers, Powerband, and Chris Samples MX Schools.

He would also like to say a special thank you to some of his friends: "The Caudle family, Tennant family, Rylie Allen's family and the Halpain brothers."
