  • Husqvarna announces 2015 off-road team and partnership with Rockstar Energy drink

    Husqvarna is set to go off-road racing in 2015 with a strong roster of championship-winning riders and the support of a new title sponsor- Rockstar Energy Drink. Husqvarna's off-road program is proud to welcome Rockstar Energy Drink as title sponsor, effectively creating the off-road division of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing. New to Husqvarna this year is past champion and eager contender, Josh Strang. Returning for a second year are factory riders Mike Brown and 2014 Champions Andrew DeLong and Jacob Argubright.

  • Cody Ellison: AMA ATV Hare Scrambles third place overall finisher

    Cody Ellison, 20, of Miami, Fla., is an ATV Hare Scrambles rider who doesn’t go anywhere on race day without his turtle pillow. And that race day when he was wearing pink nail polish? Well, it was all in good fun.

  • CDC task force opens meetings to public

    December 18, 2014

    As a result of urgings from the AMA, the Community Preventive Services Task Force of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control is reopening its meetings to the public. The AMA repeatedly objected to the CDC’s expanded focus on motorcycle safety and urged the agency to allow expert federal agencies, such as the Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, to address roadway and vehicle safety issues.

  • 2015 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series schedule announced

    December 18, 2014

    Racer Productions announced today the 2015 schedule for the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship. The 13-round GNCC series takes place in nine different states through the eastern half of the U.S., making stops at many of the series' traditional favorites, while adding an all-new venue and making a return to another.
