PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The American Motorcyclist Association congratulates Cameron Krezman and Levi Leutz for winning the 250cc Class and 150cc Class titles, respectively, at the 2019 AMA Youth Speedway National Championship at Fast Friday's Motorcycle Speedway in Auburn, Calif., on July 12.

The event pitted the nation's best speedway racers, 17 years old or younger, against each other in two competition classes. The 2019 national championship event featured 26 riders vying for AMA No. 1 plates.

For Krezman, 15, it was his second time winning an AMA National Championship. The Newcastle, Calif., resident also holds the 2014 AMA 150cc Division II Speedway national title. He won the 2019 250cc Class crown by 2 points over 2018 runner-up Landon Norton, 15, of Citrus Heights, Calif.

Krezman became the first rider other than three-time 250cc Youth National Speedway Champion Sebastian Palmese to win the title since 2015.

It was the first time Leutz, 10, of Yucaipa, Calif., won an AMA National Championship. He won his semi-final race and the 150cc Class main event on route to winning the class title.
