AMA Press Release

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The American Motorcyclist Association congratulates the 14 riders who won class titles at the 2019 AMA Flat Track Grand Championship.

The annual four-day national championship event features the best amateur racers in the nation vying for AMA No. 1 plates while competing in three formats of flat track racing. The event took place at the Ashland County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Ohio, on July 23 and at the Triangle Motorcycle Club in Harpster, Ohio, on July 24-26.

"Winning a class title at the AMA Flat Track Grand Championship is no easy feat," AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant said. "Riders must have the endurance to compete in four days of intense competition and the versatility to perform well in short track, half mile and TT racing. These 14 riders are deserving champions, and we look forward to honoring them at the 2019 AMA Championship Banquet."
