The following is an industry press release...
Brain tumor survivor Kyler was one of seven Stars at the 2013 Utah Ride for Kids.
Ride for Kids celebrated nine years of hosting the charity motorcycle event in Salt Lake City on Aug. 11.
Nearly 150 participants gathered for the Sunday morning ride, which raised funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
Skies were blue and clear as riders gathered at This Is the Place Heritage Park to honor seven young brain tumor survivors and their families. Read more about the local event here.
“At Ride for Kids parents can have relief and fun with their kids,” said Star Lynzi. “All of the kids can have somewhere to go to have a good time when they get out of treatment.”
Making life better for these Ride for Kids Stars is the reason motorcyclists across the country ride for the PBTF, which funds medical research and family support programs to help eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors.
The Utah event is still collecting donations online at www.rideforkids.org. Fundraisers will receive incentive credit through Sept. 11.
The next Ride for Kids events are Sunday, Aug. 18, in New England and St. Louis. Register today at www.rideforkids.org.
