Maxxis offering cash contingencies for racers

February 21, 2012

Maxxis is offering cash contingencies totaling more than $1 million to all ATV and motorcycle racers in various U.S. off-road race series.

The company says cash payouts are available to first- through third-place finishers in most classes.

Payouts range from $25 up to $500 in a variety of series, including the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series, AMA Extreme Dirt Track National Championship Series and AMA Mid America XC Championship series.

“We're offering up $1 million in cash again for 2012,” said Scott Perkins, marketing specialist for Maxxis' Specialty tire division. “We are proud to offer this support to all the racers in these series.”

Riders must run Maxxis tires on all four wheels of their ATVs and must display a minimum of four 6.5-inch Maxxis decals on their ATVs.

Full instructions are on the contingency application forms. To download the forms, go here.
