Motorcycle enthusiasts have a new way to display the pride they have for their bikes – a favorite photograph enlarged and printed on Baltic Birch plywood to hang in their home, garage or other cool spot.
The product is called “Pride in your Ride.” Erik Wensberg, vice president of AMI Graphics of Center Stafford, N.H., debuted the new, AMA-licensed line July 8 during AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
“We specialize in large-format signage for major special events, including sports from the Olympics to the NHL (National Hockey League) to Division I college,” Wensberg said. “We have 45 employees, who are all motorcycle enthusiasts, so we know what pride people take in the bikes they own and ride. “This is a way to celebrate being an AMA member.”
The Pride in your Ride products are available online at www.ama-pride.com. Customers can upload a photo from a smartphone, customize it on the website and place the order.
“We tried to make it as foolproof as possible, so that it is easy for everyone to create a special memory of their own,” Wensberg said.
Photos may be vertical or horizontal, and customers can place text, borders or the AMA logo on the print. Photos also can be placed on a single wooden panel or be divided over two or three panels.
Prices ranges from $65 to $195. Finished panels are delivered in 10 to 14 business days.
