For those of you drooling for a limited-edition café racer, consider the rare 2019 Thruxton TFC from Triumph.
TFC stands for Triumph Factory Custom. The British company says “Our ultra-premium Triumph Factory Custom range showcases hand-crafted British custom design, specification and finish at its best. The Thruxton TFC is the definitive sports classic, and it’s totally special, totally unique, and absolutely beautiful.”
The machine features a 1,200cc Bonneville engine that pumps out 109 ponies at 8,000 rpm, which is 12 more horsepower than the company’s Thruxton R.
The bike also boasts titanium Vance & Hines mufflers. (Both Terry Vance and Byron Hines, who started the company, have been inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.)
The Thruxton TFC also is 22 pounds lighter than the Thruxton R.
Only 750 will be made for worldwide distribution. The starting price in the United States is $21,500.
