Seven members of JarHeads Motorcycle Club killed in New Hampshire crash

Suspect arrested Monday, charged with negligent homicide

The 23-year-old who drove a pickup truck into 10 motorcyclists, killing seven of them, was arrested today, June 24, and charged with seven counts of negligent homicide.

Three motorcyclists were injured in the crash.

Volodoymyr Zhukovskyy, a transportation company driver from West Springfield, Mass., was towing a trailer when the truck he was driving struck a group of JarHeads Motorcycle Club members on a two-lane highway near Randolph, N.H. the incident occurred June 21.

The club is made up of Marine Corps veterans and their friends from across New England.

Citing court records, the Boston Globe reported that at the time of Friday’s crash Zhukovskyy was free on $2,500 bond in a pending drunk driving case in Connecticut.

The deceased are:

  • Michael Ferazzi, 62, of Contoocook, N.H.
  • Albert Mazza, 59, of Lee, N.H.
  • Desma Oakes, 42, of Concord, N.H.
  • Aaron Perry, 45, of Farmington, N.H.
  • Daniel Pereira, 58, of Riverside, R.I.
  • Jo-Ann and Edward Corr, both 58, of Lakeville, Mass.

Two of the injured riders are 45-year-old Joshua Morin of Dalton, Mass., and Steven Lewis of Brimfield, Mass. The name of the third person injured has not been released.

Zhukovskyy did not require hospitalization.
