The AMA State Chapter Network of New York is your gateway to all things AMA and motorcycling. Whether you ride on the pavement or in the dirt, the motorcycling community is strongest when we work and play together. OBJECTIVE: AMA State Chapter Networks are to support the AMA mission: to promote the motorcycling lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling. ABOUT: The details of your State Chapter Network depend on you and those who choose to get involved. The issues and recreational activities perused are up to you and your fellow State Chapter Network members. Whether you want to get involved politically and/or socially, your State Chapter Network is what you choose to make out of it. The AMA is here to help you achieve your goals. AMA State Chapter Networks are intended to support and work closely with existing state motorcycle rights organizations and recreational groups. To present a unified front in the State of New York for all riders.
Attacks on our freedoms must stop. Opponents of motorcycling are hard at work trying to take away our freedoms. They want to stop you from riding down streets, on public land or even in your own back yard. Some officials talk about shutting down race tracks. The fact is, motorcyclists face discrimination and the threats of discriminatory laws every day. Together, we are united, focused and have the guidance, support and national resources of the AMA. The AMA is committed to proving the tools needed to conduct successful social events that help keep motorcycling fun. Strength in numbers.
The riding community is strongest when we work together. The larger our numbers, the stronger we are. The more members actively involved in the AMA State Chapter Network of New York, the more your Chapter can accomplish – politically and recreationally.
